WHO WE ARE
The Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia, Inc. (SCFG) was founded in December 27,1971 by the late Drs. Nelson McGhee and Delutha H. King, Jr. in response to the number babies being born with sickle cell disease..

As of December 27, 2023, SCFG will be celebrating its 52nd Anniversary.
VISION
The Vision of the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia, Inc. is to empower individuals to “Live Well with Sickle Cell.”
MISSION
The mission of the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia, Inc. is to engage, educate, and energize the community to improve the quality of life for people affected by Sickle Cell Disease.
